Why should I use a template?

When you're trying to build an app, starting with a template can save you a lot of time in creating your app. If you find a template that comes closest to what you need, you can copy it and customize it to your needs.

You may come across a pre-designed template that suits your needs perfectly and requires no further customization. In such cases, all you would need to do is modify the existing data to match your own.

How do I sub-+mit a template to the store?

Check out our review guidelines and then Visit Settings/General in your app, click Submit to Template Store. It's important to check to see if someone has previously created an app similar to yours before submitting as we only accept apps that are distinctive or exceptional in some way.

I want to restrict who can copy my app to specified persons

That is achievable! See our documentation on Create app from the template. This enables copying of the app by anyone who has the link but prevents submission to our template store.
